I transported two vehicles from CA to CT. The physical transport of both was good - the drivers were friendly and were easy to contact during transport. The customer service leading up the the transport was average. Until my third call to the company, it was not made clear to me that the pickup date was actually the "first available" date, and that the pickup could be up to a week later. Maybe I didnt read or understand something properly, but when I specifically discussed my needs over the phone with two different customer service agents, they did not mention this to me at all. It wasn't until my third call that this was made clear to me, and it required me to change my reservation and dates almost completely. Lesson learned - always ask the company to confirm if pickup dates are guaranteed, or if pickup could be later!! Now that I've had the experience and know what questions to ask, I wouldn't hesitate to use AAA Auto Transport again. However, I do feel that they need to be more detailed in their communications with "first time" car transport customers.
